Guidelines to authors for final paper
This year, a new workshop dedicated to "Case studies" will be organized (see also). As the presentations of this workshop will not lead to publication in the conference proceedings, a specific selection processes is proposed to the authors.
Summary can be submitted for the "Case studies" workshop after the deadline of Regular paper.
The 1 to 2 pages summary must include a title, the complete address, the fax number and e-mail address of the corresponding author. Please note that the summary must be in English.
You can submit in two categories
1520 March 2013: Submission of summary for regular papers
30 April 2013: Notification of acceptance
Authors of accepted papers have received an author's kit, which includes instructions on the preparation of the extended paper of no more than 6 pages (including figures) for the final review, before submission to the printer. The paper must be presented at the conference by one of the listed authors.
24 May 2013: Submission of extended paper
Elsevier Science will publish the ESREF 2013 proceedings as a special issue of the Microelectronics Reliability journal.
30 June 2013: Upload of the final paper to the Elsevier Editorial System (EES).
Papers without proper registered author at this date will not be published in the Microelectronics Reliability journal.
30 June 2013: Final deadline for registration of authors
7 September 2013: Final deadline for "Case study" workshop submission
Authors of tutorials, invited and accepted papers are invited to submit a full paper for publication in the conference proceedings. The full papers will be published by Elsevier in a special issue of the journal Microelectronics Reliability. The submission website for this journal is located at: http://ees.elsevier.com/mr/default.asp
To ensure that your manuscript is correctly identified for inclusion into the ESREF 2013 special issue of Microelectronics Reliability, it is important that you select Special Issue: ESREF 2013 when you reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process.
Authors are advised that because all the papers will be typeset defining an exact paper length is very difficult. However because ESREF papers are limited to a 6 page limit, the following rules apply:
Please note that there is no option to have color figures in the hard copy of the issue (although figures supplied in colour will appear in colour online in ScienceDirect and on the CD the Organisers will supply to delegates).
For regular papers, a short loop revision process will be handled by the Elsevier Editorial System; it has been set up to verify and improve the quality of the ESREF 2013 papers prior to publication.
Publication in the Special issue of Microelectronics Reliability cannot be guaranteed to those authors that will not meet the deadline for submission.
